Steve's Story

• Romantic, who would have guessed. (Steve always has something romantic up his sleeve, keep in mind he did propose by giving me a glass slipper at Cinderella’s castle in Walt Disney World)
• Loves sailing and secretly wishes he was a pirate
• Loves spending his time on his sail boat at the cottage with his captain’s hat on.
• Eats more chocolate than anyone I know
• Passionately loves coaching and playing hockey
• Enjoys being a role model to our next generation and is working hard to land himself a permanent job with the school board
• He earned himself a hockey scholarship at Canisius College in Buffalo
• The younger immature Stephen AKA “BIRCHY” left school without completing his degree to play professional hockey in Europe and the USA.  Texas has never been the same!
• After his professional hockey career, he worked as a private investigator and began coaching hockey
• Once Birch matured into Stephen, he realized he needed a more concrete, stable and secure job to provide for his future family, he went back to Canisius to complete his unfinished Teaching Degree
• After a year and half Steve graduated with honours
• Steve not only is a hockey coach who also operates his own hockey school, he is an occasional teacher, a part time maintenance dude, and a struggling actor (How many jobs can one guy possibly have?)
• Steve has an amazing sense of humor, he is also a very positive, easy going individual,  who helps keep Wendy balanced!
• Steve is the youngest in his family, mom and dad Paul and Stephanie, he has an older sister Kelly, brother in law Russ, older brother Paul, sister in law Jenn, and five nieces and nephews (Sydney, Maddison, Wyatt, Kaden and Maverick)
